Although we are a part of the Life
Teen International family, we are b.a.s.i.c.
"Brothers And Sisters In
Christ".
The mission of b.a.s.i.c. is:
1) to empower young people to grow as disciples of Jesus
Christ in our world today;
2) to draw young people to responsible participation in the
life, mission and work of the Catholic faith community; and
3) to foster the total personal and spiritual growth of
each young person.
Led by a group of dedicated adult mentors (Core Team), this
ministry strives to lead teens closer to Christ through
solid catechesis, service projects, prayer and worship,
leadership development, community building, advocacy for
youth, sharing the Gospel message, and showing compassion
as Jesus modeled.
All high school students are invited to attend b.a.s.i.c.!
We gather on Sunday afternoons (September through May) from
6:30-8:30 p.m. in the NEW
Marian Hall. Friends are
welcome!
Since there is a new Mass schedule, all teens are
encouraged to attend the 5:30 PM Mass with their families.
Afterwards, all parishioners are invited for a parish
supper in Marian Hall.
A nominal fee will be charged to help offset the cost of
the meal.
However, all teens are invited to eat for free with Life
Night to follow!
